What Our Customers Say About Us

"Morning Scott,

I spent yesterday just drooling over the new speakers. I really (REALLY) didn’t need to watch the Star Wars movies again… but with such an improvement in the sound system, I just couldn’t turn it off… the expansion in the fronts is just dramatic – so you hear so much more with the full symphony passages, the clarity in the highs is breathtaking – and that’s apparent in all the speakers, including the surrounds… so I ended up watching hour after hour because it was like getting never-before-seen extra footage or something; the experience seemed that dramatically improved.

My appreciation again on the effort from you and Definitive… it seems like my last few purchases have been a struggle from one reason or another… but the final result is always worth it, and knowing that you guys will work with me and the suppliers until all is right is very reassuring. That’s the reason I keep coming back.

Thanks again,
Mike.

Thanks for hosting another great party. Enjoyed talking with Karen Sumner, John G., and the usual suspects employed by Definitive Audio. Of course, the music listened to was nothing less than the best! Three Cheers!!!

Hi Mark,
I just want to let you know how happy I am with the system that Tom helped me put together. I have worked with Tom for many years and have never had a disappointing moment.

Over the years we have done bits and pieces. I've attended some of your home theater evenings as well as "music matters" events and have always come away impressed by the industry muscle you folks are able to attract. Tom has always followed-up the "invite cards" with a phone call encouraging me to come to the events.

I really never pictured myself owning the type of system I now have, but I'm glad I took the leap.

Tom and I have been "roughing" out my project for some time. I wanted "separate" 2 channel and theater systems. Most people just want your money, Tom wanted to make sure that the system would perform and convinced me to have Dean Gainer down to assess my room which turned out to be time and money well spent. Dean drew up some plans and made equipment suggestions for my room.

Tom then brought in Ivan & Jesse at Snap-Tex and we were off to the races. Ken Huber even suggested that I come by his shop for some add'l fabric ideas. Again, at each step of the chain the folks wanted to help me get everything "right".

Tom would always check-in on the progress and respond to my outrageous e-mails loaded with "what-ifs" and "changes" with well thought out responses and patience.

Right before installation was to begin, Tom let me know that Wilson was coming out with Maxx 3's. Instead of waiting, we installed Maxx 2's and I upgraded to 3's a few months later with no project delay. Definitive's trade up option makes system building a no brainer.

Once the room was wired, painted, treated, engineered, measured and remeasured your install crew showed up and did a great job getting everything working. The Crestron programmer is also a great addition to your outsourcing.

Building a system is quite an undertaking from a homeowners point-of- view. The amount of thought and planning that goes in to a project to get it "done right" is really amazing and you should be proud of your entire team. My system sounds unbelievable whether I'm listening to vinyl/ cd or watching a movie. Friends are "blown away" by the sound coming out of my room. The whole experience is almost overwhelming.

This system would not have happened if Tom had not led me down the path. Room remodeling, electrical, cabinets-pure insanity! I'm glad Tom was there to keep my "eye on the ball" and make sure the finished
product worked for me. It does.

Thanks again, KC, Seattle
