Media Rooms are modern updates of what many of us growing up called the “rec room.” Typically, this room will have a television (with various sources such as cable or satellite, and a DVD player), connected to an audio system (stereo or surround sound). Today, many homeowners add an Internet connection, which lets them view web sites on their television. Another popular option is closed circuit television, which allows you to, for example, monitor the baby’s room, the front door and the pool area without leaving your chair.
