Description

Dan D’Agostino achieved this by combining the finest analog circuitry with the precision of digital control. The Momentum Phonostage allows users to adjust every setting directly on the front panel, complete with an LED readout for easy monitoring. Gone are the days of navigating complicated onscreen menus or fiddling with DIP switches and analog knobs. The front panel pushbuttons offer precise control over gain, resistive loading for the two MC inputs, resistive and capacitive loading for the MM input, and the record EQ curve—designed to encourage exploration and experimentation.

Understanding that even the best circuitry is only as good as the power behind it, Dan equipped the Momentum Phonostage with what may be the cleanest AC power supply ever created for a phono preamp. It features two separate power supply components: a transformer placed on the floor and power rectification and regulation circuits housed in the base of the Phonostage. This dual-isolation setup ensures the sensitive phono preamp circuits are electrically and physically isolated from the transformer, protecting the integrity of the signal.

Dan, an audiophile driven by a passion for limitless experimentation, designed the Momentum Phonostage with ample inputs to support multiple tonearms and turntables. It includes two moving-coil inputs and two moving-magnet inputs, each with both XLR and RCA connections, along with matching XLR and RCA outputs.

Constructed with the finest components and through-hole construction for optimal sound quality and reliability, the Momentum Phonostage is handcrafted in Dan's Arizona factory, just steps from his desk. This meticulous attention to detail ensures the highest level of performance and craftsmanship in every unit.
