EXTENDED TO APRIL 30th

Great systems don’t disappear. They grow.

At Definitive, we’ve spent decades working with clients who built their systems thoughtfully—often around McIntosh components that have become part of their daily lives. These pieces don’t stop performing. But technology moves forward, and sometimes the rest of the system is ready to catch up.

That’s where Trade In Trade Up comes in.

Beginning February 2, Definitive is participating in the McIntosh Two-Channel TradeUP Program, designed to help McIntosh owners transition from legacy components to today’s two-channel offerings—without starting from scratch.

We see this every day. A client walks in with an amplifier they’ve owned for 15 or 20 years. It still works beautifully. It still holds emotional value. But once they hear what’s possible with current McIntosh designs—greater control, lower noise floors, improved power delivery—the conversation shifts from if to when.

This program allows that step forward to feel intentional, respectful, and achievable.

Just as important, TradeUP gives those original components a second life. Many of the pieces traded in become part of our Pre-Loved collection—allowing another music lover to experience McIntosh ownership for the first time.

That cycle matters to us.

At Definitive, Trade In Trade Up isn’t about replacing something old. It’s about honoring what came before and building what comes next—together.

We invite you to bring your McIntosh into the Experience Center, sit down, and hear what’s changed. You may find the system you love still has more to give.
