Description

The Helix One Mk3 was built with one objective: create the ultimate turntable system. Not the best at this price point. Not the best available today. The ultimate. Mark Döhmann approached that goal the same way he approaches everything — not with convention, but with measurement, research, and the willingness to go wherever the science leads. What he found changed everything about how a turntable could be designed.

Inside the Helix One Mk3, nothing is left to chance. A fully integrated MinusK Negative Stiffness Mechanism (NSM) isolates the chassis from the environment at 0.5 Hz vertical and 1.5 Hz horizontal — near complete isolation from the real world. A custom Swiss-manufactured motor runs on a dual-belt platter drive, decoupled from the chassis. The Advanced Composite Bearing uses a Diamond Like Coating Amorphous Material for near-zero friction. The PowerBase — a separate unit housing the DC power supply, motor control software, RF absorption, suspension stabiliser, and lighting system — ensures the signal path stays clean from groove to output. Speed is continuously calibrated 130,000 times per second. Facilities for two tonearms. Every single component serves the music.

Michael Fremer called it in Stereophile: "This turntable exudes complete authority and control, and never leaves you feeling that there's more to be extracted from the grooves." That's what the Helix One Mk3 does — it removes the ceiling. The records you've played a hundred times become something new. Detail you didn't know was there. Decay that hangs in the air. Silence between notes that feels physical. The Helix One Mk3 is the turntable you choose when you never want to wonder if you're missing something.

FAQs

Please read our FAQs page to find out more.

What is the warranty on Dohmann Products?

Dohmann Audio warrants its products against defects in materials and workmanship under normal use from the date of purchase. As handbuilt precision instruments manufactured in Melbourne, Australia, each Helix is inspected before leaving the factory. For specific warranty terms and duration applicable to your purchase, please contact us directly — we'll walk you through the full coverage and what it means for your investment.

Do you offer service on Dohmann Turntables?

Yes. As the authorized Dohmann dealer for the Pacific Northwest, we handle setup, alignment, and ongoing service for every Helix we sell. We don't hand you a manual and wish you luck — we come to your room, align the tonearm, optimize the geometry to your cartridge and listening position, and we don't leave until it's right. For any service needs beyond setup, we work directly with Dohmann Audio to ensure your turntable is returned to factory specification.

Do you accept trade-ins toward purchase?

Yes. Our Trade-In Trade-Up program allows you to trade your current turntable toward a Dohmann Helix. We assess trade-in value based on condition, brand, and current market — and we'll give you a straight answer. If you're moving from another reference-level table, the conversation is worth having. Contact us or stop by the Bellevue Experience Center to get started. Or submit your potential trade in gear here.
