The HRS E1X isolation base sits between a component and its shelf, mechanically decoupling the equipment from structure-borne vibration that travels through the rack, the floor, and everything connected to it. HRS builds their isolation products around a mass-over-spring architecture that's optimized to the specific weight of the component being isolated — a detail that distinguishes their approach from generic isolation feet.
Used condition, full working order. The E1X is designed for source components, preamplifiers, and DACs — components where the benefit of vibration isolation is most audible because they operate at low signal levels where the noise floor matters most.
