Nothing added. Everything revealed.
Wattson Audio was born from the same engineering culture as CH Precision -- built in Switzerland, shaped by the same discipline that has defined reference-grade audio for decades. Where CH Precision works at the summit of the industry, Wattson applies that thinking to a range designed to bring that standard of performance into more rooms and more systems. The philosophy is identical. Nothing is added that doesn't advance the music. Nothing is removed that does.
Every Wattson product begins with a clear engineering purpose: apply only what meaningfully improves performance, then execute it without compromise. That principle is visible across the full range -- from the Emerson streaming components that have earned devoted followings among serious listeners worldwide, to the Madison line, which represents Wattson's most sophisticated engineering in remarkably compact form.
The Madison LE Streamer is Wattson's flagship -- a streaming DAC that consistently draws comparisons to components at several times its price. The Madison Phono is the newest addition: a phono preamplifier that accepts moving-magnet, moving-coil, and DS Audio optical cartridges through three dedicated input architectures, amplifies the signal in pure analog, then performs RIAA equalization at 32-bit/384kHz DXD precision. Swiss-made. No compromises.
Wattson joined the Definitive lineup in both Bellevue & Portland because they ask the same question we do. Not what a component can do. What it does to the music. Come in and hear it.

Madison Phono
The Madison Phono is Wattson's Swiss-built phonostage -- available for MM/MC (voltage sensing), low-impedance MC (current sensing), or DS Audio optical cartridges. The cartridge signal stays in a clean linear analog stage, then converts at 32-bit/384kHz (DXD mastering quality). RIAA, Columbia, Teldec, EMI, and Decca curves applied digitally with +/-0.1 dB accuracy. Analog RCA and digital S/PDIF outputs. This is a serious phonostage for a serious vinyl system.
A History of Audio Excellence

Switzerland
The Beginning
Wattson Audio was founded in Préverenges, Switzerland -- a CH Precision company by lineage and by engineering culture. Decades of developing digital audio technologies for the industry's most respected brands created both deep technical knowledge and a clear sense of what high-performance audio could become when approached from first principles.

The Emerson
The First Line
Wattson's first products were the Emerson Digital and Emerson Analog -- compact streaming components that earned devoted followings among serious listeners who cared less about form factor and more about what was happening in the music. The Emerson remains the entry point to Wattson's approach.

The Madison Range
Then Next
The Madison line extended Wattson's engineering into more ambitious territory: a flagship streaming DAC, a dedicated amplifier, a power supply designed to lower the noise floor of the system, and most recently, the Madison Phono -- Wattson's first analog component and a statement about what phono preamplification can be when designed without compromise.

At Definitive
Where this moment brings us
Wattson is new to Definitive, and to the Pacific Northwest. We carry the full Madison and Emerson range at Definitive Bellevue & Portland. If you want to understand what Swiss engineering sounds like when the goal is purely musical -- come in.
