The Moon 760A is Simaudio's reference-tier analog preamplifier — and in Simaudio's lineup, "reference tier" carries a specific meaning. Fully balanced signal path from input to output, relay-switched volume control (which eliminates the mechanical noise and channel tracking errors of conventional potentiometers), and a noise floor that makes the most of what a high-quality source can deliver.
The power supply is separate from the signal path — a regulated design that isolates the preamplifier's audio circuitry from the AC line noise that a conventional power transformer would introduce. Multiple balanced and unbalanced inputs. Used condition, tested and verified.
