At 175 watts per channel into 8 ohms (350 into 4 ohms), the 641 has output reserves that few integrated amplifiers at any price can match, but the headline spec understates what makes this amplifier compelling: it's the character of those watts that matters. The 641's topology is fully discrete, fully differential, with zero-feedback circuit architecture that delivers an exceptionally natural, unhurried sonic presentation.
