The Shunyata Sigma XC was the reference-level power cable in Shunyata's XC (high-current) range — designed specifically and exclusively for connection between a wall outlet and a Shunyata power distributor or conditioner. Unlike the noise-reduction-focused Sigma NR, the XC version is engineered for one purpose: maximum DTCD (Dynamic Transient Current Delivery). The goal is to ensure that your power conditioner can pull whatever it needs from the mains without restriction, preserving the dynamic headroom that lesser cables compress.
This cable uses Shunyata's ArNi VTX-Ag conductors — virtual-tube geometry in the purest silver/copper composite available — terminated with Shunyata's CopperCONN carbon fibre connectors at both ends. The C19 connector end mates with the 20A inlet of the Everest 8000 and similar Shunyata distributors. This product is no longer in production and has been archived by Shunyata; pre-owned examples are the only way to acquire one.
