Description

The 802 D5 shares every technology with the 801 D5, and that is the point. Diamond dome tweeter. Turbine Head midrange enclosure. Continuum FST cone. Matrix cabinet bracing. Biomimetic Suspension. The difference is size: where the 801 D5 deploys two 10-inch Aerofoil bass drivers, the 802 D5 uses two 8-inch units — a meaningful reduction in bass displacement that comes with advantages in cabinet width, room flexibility, and amplifier requirements. The result is a speaker that demands less from a room and less from an amplifier without asking you to give anything up in the technologies that determine the character of the sound. The midrange clarity that comes from Turbine Head isolation. The resolution that comes from a Diamond dome. The dynamic composure that comes from Aerofoil cones in a Matrix-braced enclosure. 90dB sensitivity, flat to 17Hz ±3dB. The 802 D5 is the speaker that most serious two-channel and home theater systems reach for.

Bowers & Wilkins warrants its products against defects in materials and workmanship under normal use from the date of purchase for a period of five (5) years for passive loudspeakers, two (2) years for powered loudspeakers, electronics and headphones, and ninety (90) days for spare parts and accessories.

Do you offer service on Bowers & Wilkins loudspeakers?

We do! In many cases we can service a still under warranty speaker in the home, however in rare cases we might need to bring it in for more extensive maintenance.
