Description

The 805 has been a reference stand-mount for decades. The 805 D5 continues that tradition with the full 800 Series technology applied to a two-way format. A 25mm Diamond dome tweeter in Solid Body Tweeter-on-Top sits above a 165mm Continuum cone driver that handles both bass and midrange. The cabinet is Matrix-braced and Flowport-tuned, bringing extension to 42Hz within ±3dB — exceptional for a stand-mount of this size. Anti-Resonance plug and Biomimetic Suspension are carried over from the larger models. At 88dB sensitivity and a minimum impedance of 4.6Ω, the 805 D5 is an easier amplifier load than much of the 800 Series — 50–120W is the recommended range. Used in a two-channel system as the primary speaker, or in a home theater context as surround or height channels matched to a larger 800 D5 main, the 805 D5 brings the Diamond dome and Continuum cone to any position in the room that calls for it.

Bowers & Wilkins warrants its products against defects in materials and workmanship under normal use from the date of purchase for a period of five (5) years for passive loudspeakers, two (2) years for powered loudspeakers, electronics and headphones, and ninety (90) days for spare parts and accessories.

Do you offer service on Bowers & Wilkins loudspeakers?

We do! In many cases we can service a still under warranty speaker in the home, however in rare cases we might need to bring it in for more extensive maintenance.
