The Meze 109 Pro is Meze Audio’s first dynamic open-back flagship, engineered for emotional and detailed listening. A 50 mm dual-composite diaphragm combines beryllium-coated polymer, cellulose-carbon fiber, and copper-zinc alloy to deliver speed, clarity, and wide dynamic range. The driver sits within precision CNC-machined aluminum frames and copper-zinc stabilizers to minimize distortion. 

Tuned by Meze’s in-house team, the 109 Pro produces rich, warm vocals, refined treble sparkle, and tight yet punchy bass—uncommon for open-back designs. The spacious soundstage and detailed imaging foster an intimate connection with music.

Comfort and build quality are hallmarks: walnut wood earcups, zinc-manganese steel, a suede-topped vegan suspension headband, and breathable velour pads make them both elegant and durable. The auto-adjusting headband evenly distributes tension, and replaceable parts extend service life.

With a 40 Ω impedance and 112 dB sensitivity, they’re easy to drive—whether from portable players or full desktop setups—and include both 1.5 m and 3 m cables plus a ¼″ adapter. Despite the open-back design, which sacrifices isolation, the 109 Pro’s sonic performance, timeless craftsmanship, and comfort make them a standout.
