There was a time when Marantz meant the best in the room.
The Model 7 preamp. The Model 9 monoblocks. The 10B tuner from the 1960s that collectors still hunt for. Saul Marantz built those, and then the name drifted the way names do … into receivers, into soundbars, into the everyday.
The 10 Series is Marantz remembering what it was. The number on this one is a callback, and it's earned. The Model 10 is the most powerful integrated the company has ever made. 250 watts into 8 ohms, 500 into 4. Dual-mono, fully balanced, the power section developed with Purifi, assembled by hand at Shirakawa in Japan. The Link 10n is its partner. Streamer, DAC, and preamp in one, built to the same standard, HEOS on board, a real phono stage for the records that started all of this.
Copper-plated chassis. The signature Marantz porthole, lit from within. In a dark room it glows.
The Model 10 lists at $15,000 on its own. This is the Model 10 and the Link 10n together, for $15,000. Barely used. Full factory warranty intact. Sold as a pair.
A complete reference front end, for the price of the amplifier alone. Worth hearing in the room it was built for.
