Description

The Rega RB3000 tonearm stands at the pinnacle of engineering, combining meticulous craftsmanship and innovative design to offer audiophiles a level of performance previously thought unattainable. Each RB3000 tonearm is hand-built with precision by a team of highly skilled technicians, ensuring that every bearing is hand-selected and perfectly matched for an interference fit with the spindle, maximizing the amount of detail retrieved from your records. This process allows the RB3000 to deliver unparalleled accuracy, clarity, and musicality, ensuring every note and nuance is faithfully reproduced.

Designed with the least number of mechanical joints, the RB3000 uses only the stiffest, most resilient materials in critical areas, ensuring maximum rigidity and minimal resonance. The assembly is so precisely constructed that no adhesive is needed throughout the entire tonearm. This results in a robust structure that maximizes stability and precision, reducing the risk of unwanted vibrations that can compromise sound quality.

The RB3000 also features a revolutionary, low-mass, precision-engineered vertical bearing assembly, designed specifically to complement the Planar 10 turntable's design philosophy. This addition enhances the overall performance by maintaining near-frictionless horizontal and vertical movement, which allows for even greater precision during playback. The tonearm tube itself, an award-winning design, is hand-polished to keep the mass to a minimum and has been completely redesigned to redistribute weight, reduce stresses, and eliminate unwanted resonance. This increased stiffness and rigidity further enhances the tonearm's ability to handle complex grooves, ensuring an incredibly dynamic and clear sound.
