Introducing the 801 Abbey Road Limited Edition
A Legacy in Sound, Reimagined
This year marks a remarkable milestone in the history of recorded music and high-performance audio. To celebrate 45 years of collaboration between Bowers & Wilkins and Abbey Road Studios, the two icons have released something truly special—the 801 Abbey Road Limited Edition. Built on the technical foundation of the flagship 801 D4 Signature, this limited edition loudspeaker is equal parts sonic authority and design tribute.
Only 140 pairs will ever be made worldwide, and each one tells a story. Finished in vintage walnut and wrapped with Connolly red leather, the same material and shade found on the iconic seating in Abbey Road’s Studio Two. Each pair features a unique rear badge and comes with a commemorative book that chronicles the shared history between Bowers & Wilkins and Abbey Road Studios.
Studio Reference Meets Collectible Craftsmanship
Inside, this is still the 801 D4 at its best. A three-way vented box system with a Diamond Dome tweeter, Continuum midrange driver, and dual Aerofoil bass cones delivers breathtaking clarity, transparency, and dynamic range. The Matrix braced cabinet and refined crossover design ensure the performance remains true to the artist’s intent—whether in the control room or your living room.
With a frequency range from 13 Hz to 35 kHz and a sensitivity of 90 dB. Every note, every nuance, every space between the sound is reproduced with the kind of resolution only possible when world-class engineering meets a legacy of listening.
