Description

Not every room calls for the Turbine Head. Not every aesthetic wants a speaker with a separate midrange pod. The 804 D5 is B&W's answer to that reality — a three-way floorstander that applies all the driver technology of the 800 Series in a clean, upright cabinet. The Diamond dome tweeter sits in a Solid Body Tweeter-on-Top enclosure. The 130mm Continuum FST midrange operates in a dedicated enclosure within the cabinet. Two 165mm Aerofoil bass drivers handle the low frequencies, loaded through a Flowport-tuned reflex. Matrix cabinet bracing, Anti-Resonance plug, and Biomimetic Suspension are all present. What changes from the 803 D5 is the external architecture: no separate Turbine Head housing, a narrower cabinet at 238mm, and a more compact overall footprint at 40.3kg. The 804 D5 extends to 19Hz within ±3dB and runs to 24kHz — a genuinely full-range performer in a form factor that fits most rooms without architectural accommodation.

Bowers & Wilkins warrants its products against defects in materials and workmanship under normal use from the date of purchase for a period of five (5) years for passive loudspeakers, two (2) years for powered loudspeakers, electronics and headphones, and ninety (90) days for spare parts and accessories.

Do you offer service on Bowers & Wilkins loudspeakers?

We do! In many cases we can service a still under warranty speaker in the home, however in rare cases we might need to bring it in for more extensive maintenance.
