The HTM82 D5 is the center channel for home theater systems built around the 803 D5 or 804 D5 — three-way, with Diamond dome tweeter, Continuum FST midrange, and dual 6.5-inch Aerofoil bass in a more compact horizontal cabinet.

Description

The HTM82 D5 shares its driver complement with the 804 D5: the same 130mm Continuum FST midrange, the same 165mm Aerofoil bass drivers. The principle is straightforward — a center channel should use drivers of comparable scale and character to the left and right speakers it anchors. The Diamond dome tweeter and Solid Body Tweeter-on-Top architecture are carried over from the flagship models. Biomimetic Suspension, Anti-Resonance plug, Matrix cabinet bracing, and Flowport tuning are all present. At 715mm wide and 289mm tall, the HTM82 D5 is meaningfully more compact than the HTM81 D5 — the natural choice for systems where cabinet dimensions matter — while still extending to 45Hz within ±3dB and maintaining 89dB sensitivity. For listeners pairing it with the 803 D5 or 804 D5, it provides a tonally and dynamically matched center that won't be the weak link in the chain.
