Description

The ZENith has long occupied the position of Innuos' most capable server within a single chassis. The Next-Gen edition doesn't change what the ZENith is meant to be — it deepens it. The ARC6 power supply at the center of the design uses a 300VA toroidal transformer, 130,000 µF of Mundorf capacitance, and gallium nitride-based active rectification. The result is power delivery that is both stable under load and fast to recover — qualities that translate directly into dynamic realism in the music.

The Intel Core i7 inside the ZENith Next-Gen runs eight physical cores, with Innuos' AudioCore architecture dedicating specific cores to audio work only. The operating system runs from a pSLC-type SSD selected for lower electromagnetic interference and independently powered — a detail that speaks to how seriously Innuos approaches noise control at every level.

Like the ZEN Next-Gen, the ZENith uses a modular output architecture that accepts SPDIF, PhoenixUSB Lite, and PhoenixI2S Lite boards, and the same storage options scaling to 16TB. It is compatible with Innuos Sense, which manages streaming, ripping, library organization, and Qobuz Connect, TIDAL Connect, and Deezer from a single interface.

At Definitive, we've heard what the ZENith does in systems from a range of price points — and it consistently earns its place. This is a front end you can build a serious system around.

In addition to great sound, the Innuos Statement allows me to combine streamed files from Tidal or Qobuz with ripped files from my CD collection, in a seamless, fully engineered, self contained system, without the need to use a computer or other external device.  You don't even need to change inputs to switch between the streamer and the server.  It is very convenient and intuitive to use.
